Lock screen QR

Build a contact QR code and set it directly as your lock screen wallpaper — handy if a lost phone needs a way back to you, or as a fast "add me" card.

Location sharing

Start it once from inside the app and it keeps running in the background, sending this phone's GPS position to your own dashboard every minute or so. Android requires a permanent notification the whole time it's active — this is by design, not hidden.

Nothing is sent anywhere until a pairing code links the phone to a dashboard — see setup below.

Set up location sharing

1. Install Mia.apk on the phone you want to track.
2. Open the dashboard in a browser and tap Generate pairing code.
3. On the phone, open Mia, tap Enable background GPS sharing, enter that code when asked, then grant the location and notification permissions.
4. The dashboard starts showing the phone's position within a minute.

Install notes

This is a debug build, not signed for the Play Store, so Android will ask you to allow installs from this source the first time. Minimum Android version: 8.0 (API 26).
