These terms apply to the Mia website (miaphone.online), the Mia dashboard and the Mia Android app, operated by Linto James ("we", "us"). By using Mia you agree to these terms.
What Mia does
Mia is an Android app that can share a phone's location with a web dashboard, and a website where you can view that location on a map after logging in with your mobile number.
Consent to tracking
You may only install Mia on, and track, a phone that you own or whose user has clearly agreed to be tracked. Tracking someone without their consent is not allowed and may be illegal. We may block accounts that misuse Mia.
Your account
- You log in with your name and a mobile number verified by a one-time code (OTP).
- Keep your pairing codes private — anyone logged in who has a device's pairing code can see its location.
- You are responsible for activity under your mobile number.
Track credits and payments
- Loading the map on the dashboard uses 1 track credit. One credit costs ₹10.
- Credits are sold in packs: 25 credits (₹250), 50 credits (₹500) and 100 credits (₹1,000). Prices are shown in US dollars as an approximate conversion; you are charged in Indian rupees (INR), and the amount you pay is the rupee amount shown in the payment window.
- Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- Credits are added to your account immediately after a successful payment (digital delivery — nothing is shipped). Credits do not expire and cannot be transferred to another mobile number.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Availability
We try to keep Mia working, but location updates depend on the phone, its internet connection, Android battery settings and third-party services (Google Maps, Firebase, Razorpay, Vercel). We don't guarantee that Mia will always be available or that locations will always be accurate or up to date. Do not rely on Mia in emergencies.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Mia is limited to the amount you paid us for track credits in the 3 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
